Life has a funny way of working out. When I was little I dreamed of being a physical therapist and helping people in wheelchairs walk again. I gave that dream up when I volunteered on a stroke ward and patients cried to me day in and day out "please, just let me die". I was young, short-sighted and couldn't see that not all patients would be like this. So I gave up the dream, earned my BBA and MS-CIS and always felt like a failure for giving up.
My dream of being a physical therapist may have died, but my passion for helping people survived. Fast forward 20 years, married to my high school sweetheart with four beautiful children who I homeschool, I always had a heart for helping the moms whether it was encouraging them with parenting issues, homeschooling their children, marriage struggles, or health issues; I was happy to listen and vulnerably share my struggles, so they did not feel alone. Health issues within my own family led me to go back to school to study holistic healing and before I knew it I was becoming a full-time entrepreneur helping people regain their health, all while being a homeschool mom and wife.
Suddenly I realized my childhood dream of helping people had come true.... just in a different way than I envisioned. I wasn't a physical therapist helping people walk again. Instead, I am an entrepreneur, coach, speaker and podcaster bringing hope and health to women, so they can show up full of passion and purpose for families.
